COMPOSITION

Aqueous suspension containing 6 mg of Triamcinolone Acetonide per ml.

PROPERTIES

Fluorinated glucocorticoid with low electrolyte retention. The acetonide group gives it sustained action. It presents hyperglycemic, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activity. Also luteolytic. It acts quickly and its effects last for 4 days or more.

INDICATIONS

Therapy of the functions governed by the adrenal cortex. Bovine ketosis, stress, inflammatory processes, myositis, arthritis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, allergic processes, acute parenchymal mastitis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Horses & Camels:  0.2 to 0.6 ml every 100 kg of live weight. It can be repeated after 3-4 days according to professional criteria. Do not exceed if possible 18 mg triamcinolone (3 ml) as a total dose.

Dogs: 0.4 ml every 10 kilograms of live weight as a single dose. No repeat.
