Brucelosis – Tornel – Box

To prevent bovine brucellosis in calves from three to twelve months of age. According to the Official Mexican Standard NOM-053-ZOO-1995, minimum requirements for vaccines, antigens and reagents used in the prevention and control of brucellosis in animals. RB51® BRUCELLOSIS CALF can be used in females from three to twelve months of age, it is a safe, attenuated and stable vaccine. Protects females under twelve months of age against Brucella abortus infection. RB51® BRUCELLOSIS BECERRAS does not induce positive serology, so it does not interfere with the National Campaign Against Brucellosis and never gives a positive reaction to the card test or other serological tests for the diagnosis of brucellosis. It is not possible to confuse the results of the diagnostic tests, in such a way that there is certainty that the positive animals are ill with brucellosis and therefore should be handled under this condition, which facilitates the control of the movement of cattle. The vaccine can be used in free herds or in herds with active brucellosis outbreaks; by protecting susceptible females it quickly stops active outbreaks of the disease. Each batch of RB51® BRUCELOSIS BECERRAS is verified and certified by SAGARPA, to guarantee its potency, safety and purity.

USE IN:

DOSE:
2 mL, subcutaneously. A single application between three and twelve months of age.

ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Subcutaneous.

WARNINGS:
Keep refrigerated between 4ºC to 8ºC. Protected from sunlight. Avoid heating or freezing. Handle aseptically. Shake vigorously before each application. Keep out of reach of children. Vaccinate only healthy animals. Veterinary use. Consult the Veterinarian.

FORMULA:
Each 2 mL contains:
Brucella abortus strain RB51® 1 to 3 X 1010 CFU +/- 0.3 log. for each dose.
Rough colonies of live, attenuated and lyophilized cells.
Diluent: Injectable grade water, c.b.p. 2 mL.

Box with 10-dose bottle of lyophilisate and diluent bottle with 20 mL.
