VITAMINA B1 WK – Equisystems – 100ml (ARG)

For all those cases where an extra contribution of Vitamin B1 is required, such as:
A- Disorders, for example, anorexia. It is considered that a horse must be supplemented if it goes through 2 to 3 days of hypophagia.
Hydrosoluble vitamins are not properly stored in the organism that is why they must be supplemented in cases where, for any reason, the intake of food is reduced.
B – In cases where the intake of carbohydrates is increased.
C – Neuritis.
D – In those cases where the animals may consume forage containing thiaminase, such as fern, or food that might be contaminated with amprolium, a coccidiostat used in birds and bovines.
E – In intoxications with lead, accompanied by chelating agents.
F – In pregnancy and lactation.
G – In cases of azoturia.

COMPOSITION: Vitamin B1 30 g Excipients q.s. 100 ml

PRESENTATION: 100mL vials

DOSAGE: The dose is from 0.5 to 5 mg/kg live weight, which approximately corresponds to 1 to 8 ml of the solution for a horse of 450kg live weight, every 24 hours. This dosage may be modified according to the acting professional’s criteria. The length of the treatment will depend on the kind of disorder and the response to the treatment. If no allergy or hypersensitivity signs appear, apply until healing.

ADMINISTRATION: Slow intravenous route is recommended. Eventually, the intravenous route can be used, but due to the solution’s pH, it can produce pain and induration.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS OF USE: The injection of this product is contraindicated in animals that are sensitive to any of its components.
Suspend the treatment in case of hypersensitivity.
